Membership with the Centre

In these changing times

Are you keeping up to date?

Are you accessing the sort of training that you need?

Are you making the right connections?

Membership is essential to ensure the financial independence of your peak body and to ensure our ability to advocate for the resources, policy and programs that you need.

Who should join and why ?

Whether you are a community based or not-for-profit organisation, local government or community health service providing child, youth and family welfare services in Victoria, a relevant organisation (such as library or tertiary institution), individual or student you must have noticed the changes underway in our field. One thing is clear - there's more to come! Keeping up to date, and being as well informed as you can, is imperative.
  • You can't afford to operate on your own in the current climate.

  • Networking is vital.

  • Being able to tune in to affordable and immediately relevant staff training is a key survival strategy.

  • Having your voice heard and having strong, skilled advocacy on your behalf are opportunities you cannot be without.

These are just a part of what membership can provide to you. Can you afford to be without it?

The Centre has a number of categories of membership and affiliation. These are outlined under Types of Membership.

This application (and supporting documentation) are considered by the Centre Board to determine whether membership is appropriate.  Upon acceptance by the Board a welcome pack and tax invoice will be sent to you.  Payment is remitted on receipt of the tax invoice and does not need to be sent with the initial application.  This pack will include information and advice about the Centre’s upcoming events to enable your participation.
