Aims and Objectives

The policy advocacy work of the Centre is one of its core functions and involves constructive advocacy on a range of issues that impact on our member organisations and the services they provide for vulnerable children, young people and families in Victoria. 

 

The policy advocacy work of the Centre is informed by the voices of our member organisations and involves the following range of activities:

  • provide policy analysis, positions and opinion on issues, programs, and initiatives related to children, young people and families.
  • inform, and generate discussion and debate on government policy proposals and initiatives.
  • represent the interests of members on various State and Federal Government policy advisory groups and reference groups. 
  • facilitate networks and Learning Circles for member organisations to share learnings and discuss common issues.  
  • develop collaboarations with key stakeholders to collectively address problems that face our sector and member organisations.

  • Changes to police check processes

State Budget Submissions
